As Senior Director for public policy and content development at HIMSS, Mr. French serves as the HIMSS subject matter expert lead on regulatory policy associated with federal clinical quality reporting programs and the impact of public policy on clinical care quality. Mr. French is recognized as a global subject matter expert on model practices for leveraging technology to drive improvements in healthcare outcomes, covering topics including risk stratification, clinical decision support, clinical analytics, digital health, and clinical quality measurement, serving on the Battelle Partnership for Quality Measurement Pre-Rulemaking Measure Review Advisory Group. Currently, Mr. French is HIMSS lead subject matter expert on public policy impacting the development and deployment of artificial intelligence and machine learning in healthcare setting.
